WESTERN DAY PARADE - JUDGING CRITERIA
There are 7 Categories as follows:
Commercial Trophy:
Awarded to a float, band or other exhibits sponsored by a business.
Community Trophy:
Awarded to a non-commercial entry. It may be awarded to a service Club, Church, Youth Group, and other local organization.
Musical Trophy:
A warded to a riding band or other entry that uses music as part of its theme.
Marching Band Trophy:
Awarded to the best Marching Band
Youth Trophy:
Awarded to the most creative youth group entry. This may be a church group, sports team, scout troop, pageant court, or any group made up of young people. No age limit has been established for this entry.
Best use of Color Trophy:
An Open category. Awarded to the entry that uses color most effectively. All entries are eligible for this award.
Theme Trophy:
Awarded to the entry that best portrays the theme of the Western Days Parade. This year's theme is: "Lakeside; A Community Building Leaders"
Grand Marshal's Trophy:
Awarded to the entry that judges consider the best portrayal of Western Days
ALL ENTRIES WILL BE JUDGED.
SCORES ARE SCALED FROM 1 - 10.
ALL JUDGING IS FINAL.
